I’m Heather Fontenot, founder of Aspen Creek Bookkeeping in Northern Colorado, with more than two decades of experience helping businesses keep their finances accurate, organized, and on track.

I earned my Bachelors degree in Accounting from Sacred Heart University and am certified in QuickBooks and Sage. My career as a full-charge bookkeeper has included extensive experience in private practice, construction, and public finance, giving me a broad understanding of the financial needs businesses face at every stage.

I have particular expertise in construction bookkeeping and understand the added complexities that come with managing vendors, project expenses, job-related financials, and the day-to-day accounting needs of construction businesses.

I started Aspen Creek Bookkeeping to provide business owners with something I believe is just as important as accurate numbers: personal, dependable support from someone who truly understands their business.

My goal is simple—to give you clear, reliable books so you can spend less time worrying about your finances and more time running your business.
